Tabs was formed in 1989 and we now have over 175 productions to our name. We have always prided ourselves on the variety of our work - ranging from Shakespeare to modern classics, via musicals, children's shows, workshops at The Royal National Theatre and in 2019 the West End, when our production of Anthony Horrowitzs's Mindgame transferred to The Ambassadors Theatre.
We're often out on tour but have also produced many play seasons at The Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield including seven plays for seven decades, to celebrate The Pomegranate's 70th birthday as a rep. and The Theatre Royal, Windsor.
We're extremely proud, since 2012, to have been the producers of the Nottingham Theatre Royal Classic Thriller Seasons. 2026 sees productions of Anybody For Murder by Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner, The Nightmare Room by John Goodrum and Mantrap by Robert Thomas (adapted and freely translated by Sean Aita).
